31-year-old Jacqueline is a beautician by trade who grew up in Phalaborwa and has lived and worked in Bangalore, India; travelled the world working on a cruise ship for a year, and then lived in Amsterdam for a while as well. This seasoned traveller recently returned back on home soil and she currently resides in Kempton Park in Johannesburg. Her performance of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac earned her four turns and a lot of high praise from the coaches. Karen even told her that she’d buy her album immediately and that she belongs on the international stage. But Jacqueline said from the start that she’d choose the coach who turned for her first, and even though both Lira and Karen pressed their buzzers almost simultaneously, it was Lira who pipped Karen to the post!
