Over the past few years, Caroline-Grace Brüssow has become a regular performer at functions, festivals and concerts across the country. Since she finished in the top four of the second season of The Voice SA, she has released several successful radio hits and a top-selling album and has also managed to conquer the hearts of music lovers with her soulful voice.

Now she returns to the spotlight as the heroine of the story once again, but this time as the star of her own action-packed music video that will keep you glued to your seat until the very end!

"'Voor Jou's video tells the story of a very happy cowboy couple who are living on their horse and cattle farm and is attacked by a group of criminals. The woman (Caroline-Grace) manages to escape and starts eliminating the crooks (Anthony Whitcomb, Zanri Sadie, Eduan du Preez, Edward Dupper), one-by-one, in order to save her husband (André Lotter) and the farm,” reveals producer and director Gerhard van Rooyen, who was responsible for the entire production of the video, about the idea behind of this South African sweetheart’s latest release.

Diamond X Cowboy Ranch, just outside of Rayton in Gauteng, served as the backdrop for this film quality concept and the atmosphere at the venue combined all of the right ingredients needed to put the viewer right in the middle of the action.

“Love can overcome anything, because it makes you brave enough to move mountains in order to protect your loved one,” the singer explains about the message she would like to convey with the video. “I am not a feminist, but admire strong women who are able to recognise their own value and live their lives accordingly. That’s why I love the fact that the woman, and not the proverbial “knight in shining armour”, is the hero of this story.”

'Voor Jou' is available on Caroline-Grace’s debut album, 'Eindelose Liefde', which was released in 2017 and secured her a Ghoema nomination for Best Newcomer in 2018. This contemporary CD boasts eleven tracks, nine of which were created by some of the country’s leading songwriters, including Vaughan Gardiner, Johan Vorster, Roux Cloete and Niel Schoombee. A beautiful rendition of the Roxette hit, It Must Have Been Love, as well as a duet of Jannie du Plessis’s, Liedjie Vir Jou, with Fatman, can also be found on the playlist.

The titular track was extremely well received and can still be heard on various radio stations and the music video has already had more than 270 000 hits on YouTube.

Her first single and music video, Ek Bid Vir Jou, was also an instant hit. The song, written by Roux Cloete and Niel Schoombee, topped the iTunes charts from the day it was released and also claimed the number one spot on the hit parades of various radio stations, including Maroela Media’s Top 20 and Overvaal Stereo’s Top 20.

The artist, who grew up in Bloemfontein, has been working in the entertainment industry since she was eighteen. Various competitions and shows followed over the past thirteen years, including Oprah Winfrey’s Graduation, Jy is my Liefling, Beauty and the Beast, and many more. During this time, she also obtained her LLB degree and shared the stage with big names like ADAM, Jak de Priester, Jannie Moolman, Valiant Swart and Jannie du Toit. Being a contestant on The Voice SA 2017, singing The National Anthem at the rugby match between South Africa and Australia and landing a record deal with Universal Music are singled out as some of the highlights of her career.

'Voor Jou's music video introduces a brand new side of Caroline-Grace’s personality and talent to the public. Not only does it give this versatile star the opportunity to showcase her acting skills, but also gives her a platform to share her powerful message with the world.
