Chris Werge is – like a lot of The Voice SA talent – making waves in the Mzansi music biz. And he partly has The Voice SA to thank: he recently recorded a video with this season’s #TeamKahn talent Christy-Lyn in which they discussed five important things they got out of the show.
Chris released “On My Mind” shortly after exiting the show (get it on iTunes), and followed it up earlier this year with mid-tempo ballad “Tell Me”. The song displays some solid songwriting skill, and the video is pretty lush, even featuring drone footage from above Table Mountain.
Some famous faces helped hype the track on social media, including recent live show guests Daniel Baron and Majozi, fellow season 1 contenders Gavin Edwards, Richard Stirton and Lana Crowster, coach Bobby and co-coach Toya Delazy, and Chris Jaftha.
Chris says, “This song is an expression of the tension in a relationship between our desire for a physical and emotional connection with someone.”
