There’s a hot line-up this July that’s sure to keep you warm through the cold winter nights. New seasons of legal favourites Suits and The Good Fight see the return – as well as the introduction – of old and new cast members. There's also familiar procedural crime drama with a new season of Elementary and topping off the action is the brand-new drama 9-1-1.

Suit Up!

The latest season of the acclaimed legal series Suits starts Thursday 19 July at 21:00 on M-Net channel 101 - just one day after its US broadcast. Gabriel Macht reprises his role along with Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill…and a new partner in town – who isn’t here to play nice.

The Suits Season 7 finale, aptly titled Goodbye, left most fans very tearful as they had to say farewell to main characters Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) who were sent off with a fairy tale wedding that was seasons in the making. As expected the two lovebirds, who were set to have a wedding ages ago, did not leave New York without tying the knot.

They brought forward their wedding date and Donna used her skills to get everything of the best for their special day. A touching and bittersweet goodbye also played out between Mike and Harvey, brothers and friends (both on and off screen), where Mike thanked his mentor for always being there for him. A true end to an epic era.

Season 8's announcement came with news of an exciting new addition: Katherine Heigl, who, from the first-look, is ready to suit up! Heigl will be joining hit legal drama Suits as a regular and will play new Pearson Specter Litt partner Samantha Wheeler, a tough and talented attorney who knows what she wants and how to get it. Seems like everyone will be kept on their toes with a new face in the building. The personal travails of Harvey Specter will not be forgotten, of course. After last season’s drama with Donna, viewers will be eager to learn what the pair’s future will look like.

Suits starts on M-Net channel 101 on Thursday 19 July at 21:00, with two repeats on Fridays at 11:30 and Wednesdays at 07:00. If viewers have missed Seasons 1 - 7 (or they’d just like to reminisce about the good times with Mike and Harvey), the series is also available now on Showmax.

Fight The Good Fight!

The Good Fight’s Diane, Lucca, and Maia return to M-Net channel 101 from Monday 23 July at 21:00. The firm’s members found themselves in a tense position in the Season 1 finale, both personally and professionally. One only needed to glance at the episode title to pick up that indeed there was going to be some Chaos in this episode. After taking on a new client accused of cyber-terrorism, Diane had the misfortune to learn that her bold move resulted in unforeseen repercussions for the firm, especially for Lucca.

An unfortunate event brings the firm together once more in the Season 2 premiere, along with the prospect of a new name partner: Liz Reddick-Lawrence. The series stars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, and Rose Leslie return, alongside Delroy Lindo, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Justin Bartha, Michael Boatman, and Nyambi Nyambi.

Season 2 of The Good Fight Starts Monday 23 July at 21:00 on M-Net channel 101, additional airings will be scheduled on Tuesdays at 12:30 and Thursdays at 08:00.

Elementary, my dear Watson!

Season 6 of the modern-day mystery drama Elementary starts on Wednesday 18 July at 19:00 exclusively on M-Net City channel 115. In contemporary New York, an often-troubled but highly-skilled Sherlock Holmes partners up with his astute and sometimes exasperated companion, Joan Watson. Together, these two bring their expertise to the NYPD to solve crimes.

In last season's finale, the team uncovered the mastermind behind the gang war. Holmes, however, was not completely well: he’d been experiencing increasing spates of memory loss and hallucination leading to quite a cliffhanger when he underwent an MRI in the closing scenes of the episode.

Season 6 will answer questions around Holmes' discovery in the aftermath of his brain scans, while also introducing us to a new character whom our hero finds friendship with. But can this new face be trusted?

Watch the latest season of Elementary on the home of heroes, M-Net City channel 115 at 19:00 from Wednesday 18 July at 19:00. Additional airings are on Thursdays at 16:00, Fridays at 11:00, Sundays at 14:00, and Mondays at 07:00.

9-1-1, what’s your emergency?

An all-star cast takes us on a fast-paced exploration into the lives and careers of first responders: cops, paramedics, firefighters – the people who put their lives on the line to save others. This procedural comes from prolific creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the men who brought viewers acclaimed dramas like American Horror Story, Glee, and Scream Queens.

Based on the real-life, high-pressure experiences of emergency response providers, the drama delves into these heroes' lives as they’re thrust into heart-stopping situations that are equal parts unpredictable, intense, and uplifting. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable while solving the problems in their own lives.

Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Peter Krause (The Catch) and Emmy-nominee Connie Britton (Nashville) have been cast in lead roles alongside Academy and Emmy Award-nominee and Golden Globe winner Angela Bassett (American Horror Story). Also starring, Oliver Stark (Into The Badlands), Aisha Hinds (Underground), Kenneth Choi (The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story) and Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break).

9-1-1 starts Monday 23 July at 20:00 on M-Net channel 101. Additional airings are on Wednesday mornings from 01:00 and Monday mornings at 02:30.
