Get ready for first and exclusive new series on M-Net City DStv channel 115 this September. The Home of Heroes will debut brand new seasons of anticipated horror-fantasy dramas Supernatural (Season 13 starts Saturday 8 September at 21:00) and The 100 (Season 5 starts Saturday 29 September at 21:00). With monsters and demons and interplanetary humans with deadly weapons (oh my!), it’s an ultimate #SurvivalSaturday lineup.

Since April this year, channel 115 has premiered a host of crime and fantasy dramas including Instinct, Elementary, Gotham, The Originals, and Sleepy Hollow, to mention a few. With a fresh offering of action-packed series, the channel has been getting a thumbs up from their Compact fans who now have the opportunity to see brand new series and seasons for the first time.

These latest additions to the schedule will see the return of the Winchester brothers in Supernatural who continue on their quest to quell evil. Fans of the long-running series will know that the road so far has been nothing short of thrilling, terrifying, and at times, filled with tragedy. Having lost their mother to Lucifer yet again, Sam and Dean pick up the pieces while dealing with the shocking demise of Crowley and the heartbreaking death of Castiel. In the new season, the spawn of the Devil is loose on earth, and as is expected it’s up to the boys to hunt the thing down and take care of it.

Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke (Revolution, Timeless) and stars series regulars Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th, Gilmore Girls), Jensen Ackles (Smallville, Dark Angel), Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Dexter), Alexander Calvert (Arrow), and Misha Collins (24, Girl Interrupted).

In The 100 Season 5 premiere, viewers are taken back to Clarke’s journey about a month after Praimfaya, where the lone heroine was forced to survive in a desolate world. Flashforward a few years later where things are significantly different: Clarke and some others are living an idyllic life on Earth – soon to be interrupted by an unwanted arrival. Those trapped in the bunker meanwhile, have not been so lucky, while up in the Ark, a small group of survivors continue their attempts to contact those on the ground. Can our heroes break the cycle, or is humanity doomed to repeat the past? In this epic battle for survival, are there really any good guys left in the dystopia?

The 100 is based on the book by Kass Morgan, and stars Eliza Taylor (The November Man), Paige Turco (Person of Interest), Bob Morley (Home & Away), Marie Avgeropoulos (Cult), Lindsey Morgan (General Hospital), Christopher Larkin (Squad 85), Richard Harmon (Bates Motel), Tasya Teles (Rogue), and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost).

Don’t miss #SurvivalSaturdays with Supernatural Season 13 on Saturday 8 September at 21:00 and The 100 Season 5 from Saturday 29 September at 20:00.
