Who's who in Widows.

The Sunday night movie may be a little later this week, but the knockout cast makes it absolutely worthwhile. And the fact that it’s directed by the brilliant Steve McQueen, who brought us intense drama and incredible performances in Shame, Hunger, and 12 Years a Slave.

His cast regular Michael Fassbender – he’s appeared in all McQueen’s feature films – may be MIA, but there are more than enough incredible actors making up the cast of this heist film. Based on a book by crime writer Lynda La Plante, script duties went to McQueen and Gillian Flynn (author of Sharp Objects and Gone Girl) – so you can expect plenty of thrills as four widows plan to pull off the heist their husbands couldn’t.
