Earlier this month, TimesLive reported on the ‘Blisters and sore muscles’ that go on behind the sequins.

Eden Classens’ former school, New York Film Academy, brought our attention to a Channel24 story that went international via Yahoo.

Eye Witness News (EWN) ran a great in-depth feature on Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, in which he “revealed that for many years he found solace in different types of numbing agents to dull the pain of disappointing his parents, losing his faith and found that he could not even face himself in the mirror.”

Channel24’s coverage has been generous and wide-ranging, from a piece on Sunday’s surprise on-screen proposal to a profile on dancer Zola Nombona, who was recently nominated for a Safta!

IOL also reported on Ryan Hammond’s unexpected question, and Channel24 then went one deeper, looking at their favourite real-life couples on #DWTSSA (Liesl Laurie and ProVerb, Vanes-Mari and Matthew Proudfoot, etc.).

Meanwhile, TimesLive were reporting on Themisa Mdoda’s dancefloor slayage, and our friends at DStv partnered for this Now reminder, and series of hilarious Dancing with the Stars SA videos starring Wilmabees!

Dancing with the Stars SA airs on M-Net (DStv channel 101) on Sundays at 17:00. Join the conversation on the Dancing with the Stars Facebook page, or on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #DWTSSA.
