Thereโ€™s drama, thereโ€™s romance and thereโ€™s singing. Nashville took the TV world by storm, and itโ€™s now in its fourth season. The talented cast has given us four amazing years, but before we start Season 4 here are a few fast facts about Nashville and its cast you may not have known.

1. The show was created by Callie Khouri, who wrote the Academy Award-winning screenplay for Thelma & Louise.

2. Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio play Southerners Scarlett O'Connor and Gunnar Scottas, but the actors are actually Australian and English, respectively.

3. Oliver Hudson, who plays Jeff Fordham, is Goldie Hawnโ€™s son and Kate Hudsonโ€™s brother.

4. Every single episode of the first season (except the pilot) was named after a song by American country singer, Hank Williams.

5. The record labels in the show are named after places in Nashville, the capital city of Tennessee in the US.

6. Lennon and Maisy Stella are sisters on the show and in real life.

7. Connie Britton (Rayna James) has received four consecutive nominations at the Emmy Awards: twice for Friday Night Lights, once for American Horror Story, and once for Nashville.

8. Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes) played Ally McBealโ€™s daughter in the final season of the eponymous show.

9. Deacon Claybourne is played by Charles Esten, who also happens to be a comedian.

10. Jonathan Jackson is renowned asย Avery Barkley on the show, but beforeย Nashvilleย he achieved success (and five daytime Emmys) for his role as Lucky Spencer onย General Hospital.
