This Sunday night we’re heading to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We’ll get to see old faves and new faces take on another interplanetary adventure.

But when they’re not filming the force, what are the Star Wars’ stars getting up to?

We decided to take a look.

Mark Hamill
Plays Luke Skywalker

Hamill is as busy as ever with a range of voice work. Our absolute #1 Hamill highlight, however, has to be his cameo as himself in the penultimate season of The Big Bang Theory.

Daisy Ridley
Plays Rey

In 2017, the young actress formed part of the magnificent cast of Murder on the Orient Express. This year, she got the opportunity to showcase her vocal talent, as Cotton-Tail in Peter Rabbit.

Murder on the Orient Express airs on Saturday 8 September at 20:00 on M-Net Movies Premiere channel 104.

John Boyega
Plays Finn

Along with winning a BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2016, Boyega has kept busy with projects which include The Circle, Detroit, and the Pacific Rim sequel, subtitled Uprising.

The Circle airs this September on M-Net Movies Premiere channel 104.

Adam Driver
Plays Kylo Ren

Since his appearance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and since Girls ended, Driver has had plenty lined up. He's worked with esteemed names such as Martin Scorsese (in Silence) and Steven Soderbergh (in Logan Lucky). This year, he’s working with Spike Lee in the director’s highly-anticipated movie BlacKkKlansman.

Oscar Isaac
Plays Poe Dameron

Isaac went evil as En Sabah Nur in X-Men: Apocalypse and worked with George Clooney for Suburbicon. But we’re most excited about him landing the gig of voicing Gomez Addams for an animated adaptation of The Addams Family, releasing in 2019.

Domhnall Gleeson
Plays General Hux

The Irish actor’s also been keeping busy, leaping from kid-friendly Beatrix Potter adaptation Peter Rabbit (with Star Wars’ co-star Ridley) to the not-at-all-kid-friendly, Darren Aronofsky-directed Mother!

Mother! airs this September on M-Net Movies Premiere channel 104.

Gwendoline Christie
Plays Captain Phasma

When she’s not battling it out in space, she’s battling it out in Westeros as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. Sadly, the fantasy series is coming to an end next year, but we’re sure it won’t be the last we see of Christie.

Laura Dern
Plays Vice Admiral Holdo

She’s been raking up award after award for her role in Big Little Lies. Come mid-September, we might see her walk away with another Emmy, this time for her impressive performance in The Tale.

Benicio del Toro
Plays DJ

Del Toro has been busy with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Avengers: Infinity War marking his most recent appearance. He also reprised his role as Alejandro Gillick, in the sequel to Sicario.

Lupita Nyong'o
Plays Maz Kanata

Nyong’o made her debut in the MCU this year, with her role as Nakia in Black Panther. Now she’s busy filming Us with fellow Oscar-winner, Jordan Peele, and we can’t wait to watch it.

Andy Serkis
Plays Snoke

With War for the Planet of the Apes seemingly the last in line, don’t expect to see Serkis return to the franchise anytime soon. Besides, right now he’s super busy on his Jungle Book adaptation, Mowgli.

Watch all the stars together in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, your #SundayNightMovie on 9 September at 20:05 on M-Net channel 101.
