Lira has joined Nhlanhla Nciza – lead singer of Mafikizolo - and Moneoa on a new girl power anthem titled “We Are More”. The three premiered the track at an event in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, earlier in the month.
At the event, the ladies allegedly joked that if they were to form a girl group they will perform under the name Butternut!
The song was recorded as part of LUX South Africa’s latest “More Than You Can See” campaign, the aim of which is to embrace women for more than just their outward appearance.
The brand hopes the song will inspire women to feel proud of who they are, confident in their own skin and being open to sharing their stories with the world.
