With just one more round of The Battles to go, we look at how some of our talent were offered one more chance - thanks to The Steals:
Al Petersen from Lira to Kahn
Nothing could have prepared Lira for this one. Just as she was dicing with her decision between Jacqueline and Al, Kahn committed to keeping one of them anyway. Yes, regardless of Lira's decision. Lira suddenly felt the pressure and it became more about the one she didn't want Kahn to have. What a moment that was!
Amanda Faku from Team Lira to Team Karen
When Karen first heard her voice, she knew Amanda was a superstar and on the night of her Battle against Spha, she said “I closed my eyes and heard an angel". “You’ve got everything except belief. Believe me, you can do it”.
Armand Joubert from Team Karen to Team Bobby
Bobby called Armand and Samantha’s Battle "phenomenal, insane and crazy” and insisted that the two need to start a band. When Karen opted to go with Samantha, it was a no brainer for Bobby to Steal Armand.
Aston Wylie from Team Lira to Team Kahn
The only one so far to have had two Steal offers; from Bobby and Kahn. In his pitch, Kahn was adamant that Aston’s vibe and voice were exactly what he needed on his team and well, Aston liked him too.
Dylan Pretorius from Team Kahn to Team Lira
Probably the most dramatic Steal yet. When Kahn decided to keep Craig Lucas on his team, Lira swung up and elbowed the buzzer to save Dylan. “Come to mama” she said.
Rick Jansen from Team Bobby to Team Karen
"Such potential but you’ll have to take a few punches before you get to the glory. When you come out again, I want to see your soul shine”, those were Karen’s words to her new catch.
Alex Cavan, Bubbles, Bryce MacMillan, Celest Schoeman, Chad Jubber, Freddy Lalendle, Jean Citto, John James, Marissa Petzer and Symphony are yet to prove themselves before the coaches. Who will be Battling who? Who will make it through and who will escape narrowly through The Steal?
