The brother-and-sister duo of Lillian and John Masser (33 and 30 respectively) have always been singing, together and solo, ever since they took part of the famous “Affie Artes” arts festival presented jointly by the Afrikaanse Hoër girls and boys high schools in Pretoria. As fate would have it, Lillian received a cash payout after a car accident, which allowed her to buy a PA system for them to start putting on their own performances thereafter, and they have never looked back! Lillian and John performed Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” – a personal favourite of both Kahn and Karen who turned their chairs for the duo. Unluckily for him, Kahn’s prediction that they would choose Karen as their coach came true, as the Afrikaans rock singer added this unique act to her team.
