Celest, (28) from Strandfontein in the Western Cape, has been a professional singer since she was 16. She is currently a full time musician who has spent much of her time doing tribute shows around Cape Town, but has come to The Voice SA because she believes that it’s time for people to be introduced to the real Celest. The coaches clearly agreed with this sentiment, as Celest’s performance of Adele’s “When We Were Young” bagged her a full house of four turns! While all of the coaches pitched in a bid to get Celest onto their teams, it was Karen Zoid who bagged this powerhouse vocalist.
