Gavin Edwards is enjoying The Voice SA from his couch rather than the stage this season and was quick to welcome Twitter to the live rounds, posting, “Wow the @VoiceSA stage is epic, Tune in peeps it's the first Live Round”.

Then it was onto the awesome performances. Craig was up first and was labeled “a superstar” by his coach Kahn Morbee. Twitter agreed, with Craig got a thumbs up from Channel24, who wrote, “Great start to the show!” with a gif of Drake applauding at a basketball match. Celebrity Tweets were in attendance at The Mosaiek and appreciated Freddy, tweeting a pic of him captioned, “A great second performance, by @Freddy_Lalendle! #TheVoiceSA is on another level this season!” Singer/songwriter Mynie Grové posted, “Wow Congrats on 1st 2 song choices that just lifted the game for 2 excellent new voices - well done Voice SA!!!” Thanks!

This Is Music ZA was also at the live show, and feeling Zee. “Power house performance from Zee!! Well done” they wrote. Ntlantleni Miya Nmz was among the chorus of support for Fatman, who earned his coach’s save with a unique take on Kurt Darren. “I don't know Afrikaans but that performance was a killer - Dit was fantasties” he tweeted (displaying a knowledge of Afrikaans that could well have been gleaned from the show!) Jami Saayman was just loving the show overall, posting, “Production is amazing. Wow. Definitely competes with international shows. Wow.”

Former Miss SA Claudia Henkel concurred, writing, “Nicely done @MNet the @VoiceSA is an awesome show, great production and interactive”. Connell Cruise’s energetic performance garnered unanimous acclaim, with Gavin Edwards again tweeting, “I'm definitely a @connellcruise fan now after that performance, Go SA Music”.

Then it was onto #TeamKaren, and her first performer, the stylish Lindo. Janice@Glitter&Toast was in attendance at the venue and posted images of the dapper singer captioned, “Wow!!! @LindoSofficial getting everyone on their feet and partying!! Awesome performance!!” Wows were also the order of the day for PJ, with TV presenter Riaan Grobler posting a performance picture with the words, “#PJ is bringing the house down! Wow!” #TeamLira’s Luke wasn’t playing favourites, tweeting, “Everyone is on fire tonight! #TheVoiceSA #teamlira #lukelovemore #top16”.

People Magazine posted a video from the venue of #TeamKaren’s third singer, the increasingly confident Amanda, with the caption, “Wow! What a beautiful performance from Amanda on the @VoiceSA!” And The Traveller were lapping Samantha up, tweeting, “@VoiceSA you're my hero for that awesome song choice and could be the first girl winner!! Samantha Leonard that rocked!”

There was even time for Bobby to post a photo of the coaches, captioning it, “Selfie time!! This is happening now #thevoicesa @VoiceSA. En Karen slapies”. GoodLuck rocked the Mosaeik crowd and you at home, with Celebrity Tweets posting, “The amazingly talented @Goodlucklive performing on #TheVoiceSA! Such an incredible band!!” The group loved their time on The Voice SA, writing on Monday morning, “Morning everyone! Thank you for all the incredible love last night! Playing on @VoiceSA was amazing & the <3 & msgs have been overwhelming”.

And finally, ousted in the Knockouts but still incredibly popular, Bryce MacMillan signed us out with an awesome picture of the stage and the words, “Wow just watched #TeamKahn and #TeamKaren perform in the first lives AMAZING! @VoiceSA you guys know how to put on a show!”
