Like so many famous singers, 23-year-old Jean Citto from Cape Town found his gift in church. Jean has always been musical, playing the piano and guitar, but coming from a family of academics, it’s been a struggle for him to convince his loved ones that a career in music can be a reality for him. Jean came to The Voice SA with no supporters on the day, but with plenty of confidence and ambition to make his mark. His rendition of the Corinne Bailey Rae classic “Put Your Records On” did just that, as his performance secured him a place on #TeamBobby.
