Armand Joubert

Armand Joubert from eMalahleni got his start in music in a local pub singing competition, so technically, The Voice SA is nothing new for him. Armand – now 21 – came from a very musical family, with parents who have always supported his dream of going professional. He was home schooled from Grade 9 onwards, and that’s when he started gigging regularly around his hometown of eMalahleni, landing big gigs such as being the opening act for famous Afrikaans recording artists such as Nicolas Louw and Ray Dylan. Armand also plays the piano, guitar and the mandolin and after receiving the coveted full house of four chair turns from the coaches singing Ariana Grande’s “Into You”, he picked Karen – who turned first – to be his coach.
