When Coach Karen Zoid said "real is the new perfect" after Christie and Emma's Battle, our minds drifted north to Alicia Keys who happens to be a coach on the US version of The Voice.
Singing Christina Aguilera's hit "Beautiful", Christie and Emma touched many hearts as they meek and gently sang:
I am beautiful
No matter what they say

So don't you bring me down today
If you haven't already noticed, Alicia Keys [featured image] has dropped makeup altogether and seems to be living her best life, if her social media is anything to go by. Yes, she's beautiful no matter what tabloids, cynics and blogs say.
Our own Kirby Jo showed off her no-makeup face on the gram and we love it.
Sometimes you've got to be all playful and just be yourself. We love how real Caroline-Grace looks here with her funny faces.
When you're not shy to show off your inner kid. That's exacttly what Bryce did as he observed Easter. Now that's as real as it gets!
We don't care what you think but THIS is the realest reaction to seeing yourself on TV ever. Armand outdid everyone on this one, right? Let's break it down...Armand takes a selfie video while watching his Battle on TV while his friend (also in the frame) takes a video of the performance. Oh! and he's singing along too...that deep. Somebody say C.U.T.E.
It absolutely exciting to see our talent without the 'masks' and just being themselves in the comfort of their own spaces. We won't even mention the REALNESS that comes with your stage name being Fatman - we won't go there. We'll just say "REAL is the new PERFECT"!
