In 1998 Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore created magic on screen when they co-starred in The Wedding Singer. Their on-screen chemistry was so magnetic, they reunited in 2004 for 50 First Dates.
It took ten years for them to make another movie together, but they made sure it happened. The pair jet set their way to South Africa to shoot their third collaboration, Blended.
During their time here Barrymore was spotted attending yoga classes with locals in Cape Town, while Sandler hooked his way onto a safari and had a hysterical encounter with a cheetah.
In between time spent checking out what SA has to offer, Sandler and Barrymore were shooting in Sun City where principal photography for the film took place. A few shots were also filmed at the renowned Pilanesberg National Park.
While their first two movies saw them madly in love, this outing has the starry pair at each other’s throats. After a disastrous date back home in the U.S. they are inadvertently thrown together on the same holiday in South Africa, leading to even more comedic disasters.
