Episode 2: Weight

Having struggled with my weight since I was 8 years old I always felt left out socially, people made fun of me whilst growing up and this always made me feel like I was never good enough. This, of course, creates an open door for depression to set in and that kind of takes over your behaviour, you over-indulge in food because it makes you happy but you are unhappy because you eat.

As much of an impact being overweight has had on my life, there are those rarities that give life its true value. For me, having found a man that loves, supports and encourages me regardless of my insecurities and what I look like is one of my life’s greatest blessings. After 10 years of dating, the love of my life proposed, reminding me that I am worth loving and that fairytales come in all shapes and sizes.
