There were plenty of familiar faces online during the final Blinds, including last season’s Robin Pieters, who was expectant. “Let's see what @VoiceSA has cooked up for us this week,” he posted, with a slew of fireballs. Meanwhile our co-host Stacey Norman was enjoying the show with fam. “Both #MommyNorman and #DaddyNorman hanging out for the FINAL @VoiceSA Blind Auditions,” she tweeted, along with a pic of her and her proud parents!

Then it was time for – and all about – our final talent’s performances. Secunda’s PJ impressed three of the coaches and Channel 24, who tweeted, “What a great start to the show. Such a good audition by PJ” along with a gif on The Voice’s Miley Cyrus applauding enthusiastically. Regular tweeter Zama Mvulane was impressed with our next performer, Lee, posting, “#LEE sounds and performs like a superstar! I like her attitude.”

Actress Helen Desbois, another regular, was feeling four-turn Michelle and her choice of coach, writing, “Nice one! Perfect choice @ChelB89 @Miss_LIRA had fire in her eyes,ya can dance with @bobbyvjaarsveld backstage anyway”, referring to Bobby dancing with the talent in a bid to secure her, with a crying-with-laughter emoji! And both Robin and Channel 24 chimed in for Samantha; Robin was seemingly knocked out, tweeting, “Jesus #TheVoiceSA Yaaaaaaaaaaaas Samantha” while Channel 24 posted an applause at the Oscars meme with a simple caption: “That was beautiful....”

The feel-good moment of the night was up next. Dawie de Jager, who’d been a childhood hero of Bobby, was picked by that coach, to Karen Zoid’s joy as she also knows the talent well. #TeamKahns Mia Pretorius simply wrote, “Love his Voice” while Joy Robyn Dembo was wordier, posting, “@bobbyvjaarsveld Tks for turning for Dawie! Nice one! It would have been so sad 2 overlook a talented good oke...much like u.”

Despite having body language that was way less confident than his voice, Sheldon was a hit, with Bronwynne W writing, “Seeing the banter & then the tears! Oh @Miss_LIRA that was awesome! Go Sheldon!” And Lira seemingly had a new fan in Marlene van Rooyen, who tweeted, “I am totally LOVING @TheVoiceSA!!! Daarsy @Miss_LIRA!!! We [heart] you! @karenzoid #chocolateteam #thevoiceSA #star.” Next talent Chico, who made it onto #TeamKaren, took to Twitter himself to express his joy, tweeting, “I made it into #thevoicesa!!! Yoh!! That was LOADS of fun, but also extremely terrifying!”

Our final performer of the night, Dylan, landed a spot on #TeamKahn, completing the teams, and had a couple of you gushing. They included Niesie Selassie, who posted, “He is so good” along with a bunch of OK hand sign emojis, and Mia again, who wrote, “wow Dylan great.”

Final word this week to Barnsey: “Am excited for the battle rounds in a couple of weeks now....honestly the talent on season 2 of the @VoiceSA has blown me away already!” Us too, B!
