A spin-off of Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. follows members of the Windy City’s police department; but if you're a fan, you already knew that. You're probably also aware that it's closing its second season on Tuesday 3 November at 19:30 on M-Net. What you might not know is that it will be back the following week, on 10 November, with Season 3; although in a later time slot: at 21:30.

There's a good reason for the shift; and that is: there's so much Chicago action happening, we can barely contain all the entertainment! The original show, Chicago Fire, is in its fourth season and currently on M-Net every Tuesday at 20:30.

It doesn't end there, because there's a new spin-off on its way, titled Chicago Med. Starting Express from the U.S. at 01:00 on Thursday 19 November, the title already tells you that the action and drama moves away from the fire and police departments, into the hospital. You can also watch the show in prime time from Tuesday 24 November at 19:30.

med

The best part? From 24 November you can indulge in three hours of Chicago starting with Med at 19:30, followed by Fire at 20:30 and ending with P.D. at 21:30. However, the U.S. will be heading into a slew of production breaks, so be prepared for a few halts and pauses along the way.

Luckily, there will be plenty of movies and shows to keep you entertained on M-Net during the festive season, so be sure to keep an eye out for what’s coming. With so many of Chicago's institutions on your screen, you’ll need the breather to wrap your mind around multiple plots and stories.

On that note, be aware that crossovers are practically guaranteed. Executive producer Dick Wolf is a giant in television, and now that he’s juggling the three Chicago series, we’re sure he’s itching to create another crossover.
